Rebates

SD EnergyEdge rebates provide cash payments to help customers upgrade specific equipment with established energy savings. The total amount is based on how much energy is saved.

Custom Incentives

Custom incentives are for larger projects and energy-efficient installations of equipment not included in the rebate list. SD EnergyEdge must pre-approve these projects before the purchase or installation of products or equipment.

Custom projects will be subject to an engineering review to ensure measures satisfy program requirements. Savings at the energy meter

Commonly known as Normalized Metered Energy Consumption (NMEC), the SD EnergyEdge team uses data analysis, energy measurement and automation strategies to provide a more accurate way to measure how much energy efficiency you can get out of a building retrofit project. NMEC normalizes all the variables that can affect the overall efficiency of a retrofit. Some of the variables taken into account from the existing building are:

Financing Options

SD EnergyEdge offers multiple ways to finance your project, designed to help you save and do more at your business or facility.

On-Bill Financing

On-Bill Financing helps eligible customers pay for energy-efficiency retrofit projects with zero interest and zero penalty loans.

  • Loans range up to $100,000 per meter
  • Loan periods of up to 60 months
  • Loan repayment amount designed to be in line with the monthly energy savings from the upgrade
  • Energy bill shouldn’t increase due to equipment investment
  • Once loan is paid off, savings on your bill will be realized
